What gets me the most is how easy, natural, and seamless it appears, but how painstakingly difficult it must be to create such a masterful and flawless performance to appeal to such a wide and diversified public. I guess the answer is really quite simple, talent. His stand-up routine was frantic, on-target and almost brought the house down. Wholesome, scratchy voiced Dee has the kind of act that appeals to everyone. He's totally likable. A class act! Hilarious, would describe Gerry Dee. Gerry very quickly adapted his act to our evening. A good balance of personal and professional! He understood the audience, his material was fresh and original, his delivery was impeccable. One of the next generation of Canadian comics to make it big. His material is appropriate for all ages. Unique! clean! professional. It was a textbook example of how to build an anecdote, reminiscent of early Bill Cosby routines. His routine is very funny and very clean, it was a hit with everyone! Gerry Dee has a teachers insight into the rewards, challenges and sometimes absurdities of life at the front of the classroom. His humorous take on educational life was just exactly what the teachers at our conference needed. They were in stitches the whole time. Dee has become one of the hottest talents in the business. |
